What do you have to do?

Bring your Windows 98 or newer computer to our shop at 4800 W. Smith Valley Rd., Suite D in Greenwood or 11807 Allisonville Rd. in Fishers to be recycled and receive a free $10 Gift Card toward your next service at Geek in Pink, or get a free data deletion service, a $45 value, free.

You can also donate your old system recovery CDs for Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Vista or 7 for any brand machine.

NEW! - Bring in your old, broken, or unused iPhones, iPods, or other cell phones or tablets and help support job creation and training in the Greenwood area. All of your personal data will be destroyed before your donated device leaves our shop. This service is offered at absolutely no charge to you.

What are we going to do with your stuff?

We are going to strip it of usable parts to use internally or by other agencies to minimize the actual waste.

We will dispose of the parts that can't be reclaimed or reused.

We will format hard drives upon request. This process ensures that when a customer recycles their computer, their data will be properly removed from their old systems.

Restrictions:

*NO monitors, printers, scanners, copiers or other big peripheral components.

*NO parted out machines. They don't have to work; however, they need to be intact to qualify.

*Power cords and other cabling are welcome, but must accompany a machine or qualifying recovery CDs to get a gift certificate.

Why are we doing this?

We don't like to see working technology, even parts, go in the trash. Most of these parts can be useful for somebody. Most of us want to see it go to someone who can use it rather than the trash. We are just helping put the two together. However, many of us do not want to compromise our computer data by recycling our computer, but here at Geek in Pink, we can assure you that your data is properly deleted from your recycled computer.
